MASLOC Retrieves Three Cars from Chairman Wontumi, Pursues More

The Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Mrs. Abigail Elorm Mensah, has confirmed that three government vehicles belonging to the agency have been retrieved from the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.

Speaking at a press briefing, Madam Mensah disclosed that two additional vehicles belonging to MASLOC are still in the custody of the embattled party chairman, and steps are being taken to recover them. She further revealed that Chairman Wontumi will be required to pay for the depreciating value of the vehicles.

The MASLOC boss also appealed to the general public to assist the agency in tracking and recovering numerous other government vehicles believed to have been unlawfully taken.
