Abura Asebu Kwamankese MP Donates 10,000 Furniture Items to Five SHSs

The Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency and Minister of Government Communications has donated a total of 10,000 pieces of furniture to five Senior High Schools within the constituency.

The donation, made on the afternoon of February 1, 2026, comprises 5,000 tables and 5,000 chairs aimed at addressing the acute shortage of desks and seating facilities in the beneficiary schools.

The schools that received the furniture include Aggrey Memorial A.M.E Zion School, Moree Senior High School, Asuantsi Technical Institute, Abakrampa Senior High School, and Aburaman Senior High School.

According to the Minister, the intervention has significantly reduced the deficit in chairs and tables, paving the way for a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.

He explained that the donation forms part of efforts to ensure that schools receive the necessary learning tools to support education and sustain the government’s reset agenda.

The MP shared the update through a post on his official Facebook page, emphasizing his commitment to improving educational infrastructure and promoting quality learning outcomes across the constituency.

The donation also forms part of his numerous developmental projects and social interventions initiated in the constituency since becoming MP. Residents note that he has consistently supported education, infrastructure, and community development, including the ongoing asphalt road project currently underway in Abura Dunkwa township.

Community members and school authorities have welcomed the gesture, describing it as a timely boost to education in the area and a demonstration of the MP’s dedication to uplifting the constituency.
