Thousands Join “Walk With the CEO” to Celebrate EPA Boss Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse

Thousands of admirers, sympathisers, friends, well-wishers, and staff of the Environmental Protection Authority flooded the streets of Accra in a massive show of support and admiration for Professor Nana Ama Browne Klutse following her recognition as the Best Public Sector CEO in Ghana by the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA).
The colourful health walk, organised by The Browne Foundation under the theme “A Walk With the CEO,” attracted participants from different backgrounds who gathered to honour the celebrated environmental scientist and public sector leader for her exceptional leadership and contributions to national development.

The event also formed part of activities marking Professor Browne Klutse’s birthday celebration held at Peduase, adding a personal and symbolic touch to the occasion.
From the early hours of the day, the streets were filled with excitement, music, and energy as participants marched together in celebration of a leader many described as visionary, humble, and transformational.
Several participants praised Professor Browne Klutse for bringing innovation, professionalism, and renewed commitment to the EPA since assuming office. Many also commended her dedication to environmental sustainability, climate advocacy, and institutional reforms within the authority.

Addressing the gathering, Professor Browne Klutse expressed heartfelt appreciation to all who participated in the walk and supported her throughout her leadership journey.
She thanked the management and staff of the EPA, friends, supporters, and loved ones for their continuous encouragement and commitment to the growth and success of the authority.

The celebrated CEO further called for continued support, guidance, and prayers as she enters another year of service and leadership dedicated to Ghana’s development and environmental protection efforts.
The event ended with a grand celebration featuring food, drinks, music, dancing, and tributes from guests who described her as one of Ghana’s most inspiring and influential public sector leaders.
The gathering reaffirmed Professor Nana Ama Browne Klutse’s growing reputation as a respected leader whose impact continues to shape environmental governance and public sector excellence in Ghana.
