AAK Chairman Koomson calls for unity to sustain party gains
April 1,2026
The Constituency Chairman of Abura Asebu Kwamankese, Vincent Koomson, has urged party members to remain united, describing cohesion as the key to sustaining electoral success and strengthening internal structures.
In a message to party executives and grassroots supporters, Koomson emphasised that unity across all levels from branches to leadership remains essential in projecting discipline, purpose and readiness for future elections.
He reaffirmed his commitment to promoting collaboration, inclusiveness and the welfare of members, stressing that collective responsibility is critical to building a stronger and more credible political front.
Reflecting on his tenure, the chairman noted that he assumed office at a time of declining confidence, marked by electoral setbacks, internal divisions and the absence of a functional party office. He credited the turnaround to teamwork and the support of constituency executives, which he said helped rebuild trust and reposition the party.
Koomson also disclosed that construction of a new constituency party office is underway, describing it as a major step toward improving member support, creating opportunities and strengthening grassroots engagement.
He called on members to place party interests above individual ambitions to consolidate gains and expand the party’s influence in the constituency.
