NDC Leadership Urges Patience as Party Addresses Job and Internal Concerns

October 15,2025

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for calm among party members and supporters as leadership works to address concerns over employment and internal party matters.

Mustapha Gbande, Deputy General Secretary (Operations) of the NDC, made the appeal in a statement issued on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, following complaints from supporters and members of the public who remain unemployed since the Mahama administration took office.

Leadership Acknowledges Concerns

Mr. Gbande acknowledged growing sentiments within the party, noting that leadership appreciates all concerns "in whatever form they come" from both members and non-members.

He emphasized that NDC leadership remains committed to serving grassroots interests while addressing challenges facing the party and government.

"We only ask that you grant us the space and time to find lasting solutions, even if gradually. Our government continues to make steady progress, regardless of the challenges," Gbande stated.

Call for Unity

The party official urged members to remain measured in their public expressions and communication, assuring them that their voices have been heard.

"Let us therefore remain calm and united. On behalf of H.E President John Dramani Mahama and the leadership of our great party, we stand fully with you. Remember, patience and resilience always triumph in the end," he added.
